THE CLASS SPEAKS OUT - 30TH REUNION RESPONSES:
My husband and I had a great time at the beer blast and the dinner dance. It was really nice to see everyone. There is nothing like memories of the good old days. Oh ya Corky, just wanted to tell you the menu for the dinner was excellent. The food was very good. However, my weekined didn't end after the dinner dance on Saturday, because on Sunday, August 14th, at 5:00 a.m. I ended up in the hospital having emergency gall bladder surgery and spent the next 5 days there. How does that put an end to my 30th year high school reunion. I guess it is one I will never forget. Thanks to all the classmates that made this reunion such a great success. Take Care Everyone, The Queen Cindy (Renda) Bonk
The reunion was a great time. I like the idea of a golf outing each year while people are in town for canal fest. The 3 day idea was a good idea again and so was keeping it casual. Thanks to Angela, Corky, Fran, Keith, Ro, and everyone else that had a hand in putting this together. Your hard work is appreciated. Dave O'Neill
I had a wonderful time at the reunion and it was well worth the traveling from Florida to NT twice in such a short time (Canal Fest and the reunion.) The good feeling I left the reunion weekend with is truly priceless. I think Mary Miller has a great idea with having an informal class gathering each year at Canal Fest. Thank you to the reunion committee for doing such an excellent job, the wonderful memories and a great website! Jill Furman
"Thank you" to those who cared enough to put this event together for us! It was a reassuring to see the friends of my youth ; healthy and happy. Bringing closure to my wondering. Enjoy life...until next time. Star Wolf Gambrell
I had a really good time Saturday night at the Dinner/Dance. My voice was getting hoarse from talking so much! haha My regret is not attending the Friday night Beer Blast, as I had felt I missed something! I only wished more classmates would have attended (we did graduate with a larger class than 120 to 200 people!). Thanks to those whom organized the Reunion. Thanks for the prayer before our meal and the hand stitched cross, both meant a lot to me. Margaret Ann Latta
It was great to see so many people from high school after 30 years. Yes, I finally decided to go to my first reunion, after my neighbor Diane Amato convinced me. It was a surreal flashback in time. The popular girls still look good, and the not so popular look great. Thank you Keith and the other committee members for a well planned event. Dave Krawczyk
It was awesome! Reconnecting with lots of people from days past, some who came to their first reunion this time. So great to see everyone! Let's keep this going! Let's have an informal gathering every year during Canal Fest for anyone who's in town! -Mary Miller Brenzel
I had an absolute blast all weekend. Jim Waters
THOUGHT THE DJ COULD HAVE DONE A BETTER JOB, BUT IT DIDN'T MUCH MATTER-WE WERE TOO BUSY CATCHING UP ON THE LAST 30 YEARS. THANKS TO ALL THAT HELPED MAKE THIS HAPPEN. ESPECIALLY, KEITH MIRANTO, STEVE DIRMYER, FRAN BARTON, ANGIE DONATO AND STAN MORGANTE..... I HAD A BLAST.- SHELLY BUDNIK
The reunion was great. We had so much fun, I was hurting the next day as we had a little too much fun. Corky and the commitee did a wonderful job and I hope to help out with the next one.It was great to see old friends and dance the night away. The food was great and the ladies at Rescue fire hall did a wonderful job with the meals. Can't wait till our next one. Thanks again, Joanne Keleher...
Had a great time at the reunion. The beer blast was hot and sweaty, but hell we had beer! It was great seeing everyone again. Most people I had not seen or had they seen me in 30 years. This was my first reunion but I think I would like to make the next one. Thanks to everyone who worked so hard to make the reunion a success. Huw (Hubert) Winston
We had a great time. Thanks again to all who put in the time and effort to make this happen. Paul & Karen Guadagna
Had a very nice time....good to see people from way back when. Only complaint....too hot!!!
Overall I think those who attended the events had fun, I smiled all the way to Albany then hit killer thunderstorms the rest of the way to Danbury CT Bob Holesko
Had a great time at the reunion! Glad I could make it home to attend. Truly enjoyed rekindling/renewing friendships and getting to know some I didn't know very well in school. Thanks to all who worked so hard on the prep for this - you did a fantastic job. Any chance we can get a list of e-mail addresses/phone numbers on the class website? Something to think about....what about a 50th birthday party in 2 years for the class? One night only...maybe around Canal Fest time? Thanks again! Linda (Banfield) Lee
What a sureal freakin' weekend! Truly amazing. Lots of love goin' around. Randy Preksta
Great reunion! Keith, thanks for keeping us all updated. In case anyone wants to come to San Diego I would be glad to host a Buffalo Bills party and get tickets with advanced notice. Let me know. Sunday, 11/20 1:15 PM Mike Keenan
I had a great weekend. Fran Barton Morgan
Being that this was my first reunion having attended, I was totally satisfied with the end result and my compliments go to everyone involved for making this such a memorable event. The website that was created, personally added to my excitement of attending this reunion. The humidity inside the building during the beer blast portion was quite intense... but hey, that's just a part of what summers are like in NT. Although I currently live in California, I still consider North Tonawanda home and realize that we, the graduating class of '75, is comprised of good, down to earth people and am looking forward to attending the 35th. Wishing everyone happiness, good health for the future. Thanks for the memories !! Bill Ritchie (Murrieta, CA)
It was very enjoyable. I only regret not talking to some more classmates on Friday evening. I would have made it to the Saturday night fest for some brew but I zonked out at home. Ed Helinski made it home safely to Auburn, NY after catching a nap somewhere in between here and there that morning. He said he wasn't used to the 4AM curtain call at Corky's. But, like the Class of 1975 trooper that he is, he endured! Jeff Mis
I had a great time. So cool seeing the people from all over the country. Anonymous
